According to the press release and tweet of the Afghan Ministry of Defense, today on Saturday, 28th December, 2024, the Afghan Taliban forces have targeted several locations in Pakistan in response to airstrikes.

According to Pakistan's security sources Kharijites together with Afghan Taliban attacked on Pakistani check posts with heavy weapons today on 28th December 2024 in the morning. 20 to 25 Kharijite terrorists tried to infiltrate from Kurram, North Waziristan by using Afghan Taliban check posts. Due to the effective retaliatory action and shelling, the Afghan Taliban left 6 checkpoints and ran away. There are also reports of increasing losses on the Afghan side. Pakistan security forces did not suffer any casualties, only 3 people were reported injured.
